Mumbai Indians will lock horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 33rd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Thursday. Both teams are struggling in the bottom half of the standings with two wins in six games.
Mumbai were able to get the much-needed win in the previous match against Delhi Capitals. Hardik Pandya’s team was able to make a comeback against DC after Karn Sharma scalped three wickets.
Tilak Varma has scored consecutive fifties in the last two games and he would look to carry the good form. However, the five-time champions would want more from their experienced batters – Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad won their previous match against Punjab Kings while chasing a huge target of 246. Abhishek Sharma scored a magnum opus knock of 141 runs, and he is going to hold the key for the Orange Army at the top of the order.
Furthermore, Travis Head scored 66 runs in the last game and the opening duo would aim to carry the good show.
