IPL 2025: Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals – Match Preview

Punjab Kings will lock horns against Delhi Capitals in the 58th match of the ongoing IPL 2025 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala on Thursday. This will be a crucial game for Delhi Capitals to stay alive in the top-four race as they have managed a solitary point in their last three matches.

While Punjab Kings have managed seven wins in 11 matches with three losses and one no result, Delhi Capitals have won six out of their 11 games with four losses and one no result.

DC had the rub of the green in the last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad as they were able to get a point after rain played killjoy when they posted only 133 runs on the board. Ergo, their batting unit, which has floundered in the last couple of matches, will need to pull up their socks.

Veteran batters like KL Rahul and Faf du Plessis need to take the onus on their shoulders to get the job done for the franchise.

On the other hand, Punjab Kings openers Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya have done a good job for the team. Furthermore, the middle order has also delivered consistently for the franchise.
