Punjab Kings will take on Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad in the 61st match of the ongoing IPL 2025 on Sunday. This match was earlier supposed to be played at Dharamshala but the venue was moved to Ahmedabad amid the rising war situation between India and Pakistan.
PBKS’ last game at Dharamshala against Delhi Capitals was abandoned due to security reasons. The Mohali-based franchise was given another solid start by their openers as Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh added 122 runs for the opening alliance.
PBKS have done a good job collectively and they would look to carry the good show against the five-time champions.
On the other hand, Mumbai Indians had lost their previous match against Gujarat Titans when Deepak Chahar could not defend 15 runs in the final over against Rahul Tewatia and Gerald Coetzee.
However, Jasprit Bumrah was once again brilliant for Mumbai Indians as he returned with figures of 2-19 in his quota of four overs against GT.
This will be a crucial game for both of these teams in order to qualify for the playoffs and both teams will look to bring their best.
