Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns against Lucknow Super Giants at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad on Thursday. SRH batters had flexed their muscles in the opening game against Rajasthan Royals as they posted a gargantuan score of 286 runs on the board.
Ishan Kishan completed his century off just 45 balls whereas Travis Head continued his rich form. There is no doubt that the Orange Army would continue to play with a similar aggressive approach.
The Hyderabad pitch is a paradise for the batters whereas LSG bowlers lack experience. Ergo, a huge total could on the cards and as former SRH bowling coach Dale Steyn has predicted that even the barrier of 300 runs could be broken.
On the other hand, LSG would be disappointed as they had their opening game against Delhi Capitals in their pocket but could not finish it off as Ashutosh Sharma played a blinder. Thus, LSG would look to come up with an improved bowling show against potent SRH batting line-up.
SRH had registered a thumping win against LSG in the previous season as they had won by 10 wickets with Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head adding 167 runs off just 58 balls.
