Delhi Capitals will lock horns against Punjab Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, in the 35th match of the ongoing IPL 2025 on Saturday. DC had lost their previous match against SRH, whereas PBKS have ticked all the right boxes as they have been unbeaten so far in the tournament.
Punjab Kings have been right on the money with both bat and ball and they would want to carry the good show. Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh have done a fantastic job for the Mohali-based franchise, whereas Shreyas Iyer has also led from the front. Arya had smashed 93 runs off just 37 balls against LSG, whereas Cooper Connolly had also scored a brilliant knock of 87 runs in the last game.
PBKS have adopted an aggressive approach with both bat and ball and they are reaping rewards for the collective effort of all the players.
On the other hand, DC could not bring their best against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last game. Axar Patel’s captaincy was also questioned as he backed Nitish Rana with the ball ahead of himself and Kuldeep Yadav.
DC can think of promoting in-form Tristan Stubbs to the number three position as the South African has been batting at the top of his game.
