After getting off to a promising start, both Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals have veered off the track in the second phase of IPL 2026. Now with every game weighed in gold, both of these teams will look to put their hat in the playoff contention ring.
While DC have won five out of their 12 games, RR have registered six wins in 11 games. DC were able to bag a thrilling three-wicket win in their last game against Punjab Kings as they were able to chase down 211 runs at Dharamshala on a tricky wicket.
David Miller scored a fine fifty in the last game and once again proved his mettle. Thus, the experienced Proteas batter must be backed by DC at all times and his selection should be a no-brainer. Furthermore, Axar Patel also scored a brilliant knock of 56 runs and his return to form with the bat is a huge positive for Delhi Capitals.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have managed only two wins in their last seven games and would look to return to winning ways after losing their previous game against Gujarat Titans. In the reverse fixture between these two teams, RR could not defend despite putting 225 runs on the board against DC.
The inaugural champions would look to come up with a collective effort and deliver with both bat and ball.
