Gujarat Titans will take on Rajasthan Royals in the ninth match of IPL 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Saturday. While GT suffered a loss in their opening clash against Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals registered a comprehensive eight-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings at Guwahati in their opening game.
GT’s captain Shubman Gill’s leadership was questioned after he introduced Prasidh Krishna in the 13th over when the match was virtually over. Krishna was able to keep GT in the contest as he bagged three quick wickets.
GT would want to come up with an improved batting show as they could only post 162 runs on the board against PBKS.
On the other hand, RR were able to tick the right boxes with both bat and ball against CSK. RR bundled out CSK for 127 whereas they were able to chase down the total with 47 balls to spare.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed a 15-ball fifty and the prodigy batter would want to carry the good show. Furthermore, Nandre Burger and Jofra Archer blew away the opposition with their thundering spells against CSK, bagging two wickets each.
