Punjab Kings will lock horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 17th match of the TATA IPL 2026 at New Chandigarh on Saturday. The Mohali-based franchise has won two out of their three matches, with their last game ending in a no-result.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost two out of their three games and have managed a solitary win. SRH were under a lot of pressure after they were reduced to 35-4 in the last game against LSG and thus their top-order would want to deliver a better performance.
The Orange Army has a solid batting unit but they would want to be more consistent in the upcoming matches. Bowling is SRH’s weak link, and they are certainly missing the services of their full-time captain Pat Cummins.
Meanwhile, Punjab Kings have looked like a solid unit and have delivered consistently. Shreyas Iyer has been spot on as a leader, and he has gotten the best out of his players. PBKS batters have played with an aggressive approach and they would want to carry on in a similar fashion.
Arshdeep Singh had gone wicketless in the first two games and he would want to get among the wickets.
Head to Head: Matches: 24, Won by SRH: 17, Won by PBKS: 7.
