Rajasthan Royals will take on Lucknow Super Giants at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur in the 64th match of the ongoing IPL 2026 on Tuesday. RR have two matches to go and with 12 points under their bag, their playoff hopes are still in their own hands.
If the inaugural champions go on to win their last two league stage matches, they will qualify for the last four, irrespective of the other results. However, RR could not bring their best in the last game against Delhi Capitals.
They were looking all set to post 220-230 runs on the board but eventually managed 193, losing six wickets for only 30 runs. Furthermore, they were not up to the mark with either ball or in the field.
Riyan Parag’s frustration was palpable on the ground and the RR skipper will need to control his emotions to get the best out of his players. RR will want more from Yashasvi Jaiswal, whose form has dipped in the second phase of the league.
On the other hand, LSG would look to be the party spoilers for RR after they bested Chennai Super Kings in the last game. Mitchell Marsh has come good at the top of the order for LSG whereas Nicholas Pooran has shown glimpses of form in the last few games.
Head to Head: Matches: 7, Won by RR: 5, Won by LSG: 2.
