Mysore Warriors will lock horns against Gulbarga Mystics in the second qualifier at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Thursday. Mysore Warriors had beaten Hubli Tigers by five wickets in the Eliminator contest after Shreyas Gopal had scalped three wickets in his quota of four overs.
Gulbarga Mystics, on the other hand, lost to Bengaluru Blasters in the first qualifier by 44 runs after Mayank Agarwal scored a brilliant century. Rohan Patil scored 108 runs off just 49 balls against the Blasters but his efforts had gone in vain as he was the lone warrior for his team.
Meanwhile, Nihal Ullal scored a fine knock of 77 runs off 58 balls for Mysore Warriors in the run-chase of 165 runs against the Hubli Tigers.
Mysore Warriors had won five out of their 10 matches in the league stage whereas Gulbarga Mystics had won six out of their 10 games in the tournament.
Gulbarga Mystics captain Manish Pandey has scored 307 runs in nine innings in the tournament and he is going to hocricket-620×350-t2 (1)ld the key for his team.
On the other hand, Shreyas Gopal has taken 16 wickets in 11 matches and he will play a key role in the success of the Mysore Warriors.
