India’s experienced fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has heaped praise on former Indian skipper MS Dhoni. Kumar stated that MS Dhoni always gives guidance to all the budding youngsters. Dhoni was well known to get the best out of the young players and guided them on the right track in his glorious career.
Players like Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah grew in confidence while playing under the leadership of MS Dhoni.
Dhoni was always instrumental in the success of the team and played a huge role in getting the best out of players.
The BCCI shared the video on Twitter with the caption, “Today on #SocialMediaDay, @BhuviOfficial relives some of his favourite Insta memories. Bhuvi talking about @msdhoni & his beloved dog is all heart.”
“I think I posted that on his retirement. Everyone knows what kind of a player he is. But I posted to explain what kind of human being he is. He always helps others. If you speak to anybody about Dhoni, they will all tell you about how helpful he is. He always gives guidance to all the youngsters,” said Bhuvneshwar in the video posted by the BCCI.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni retired on August 15, 2020 and it was the end of an era for Indian Cricket. Bhuvneshwar had taken to his social media handle to praise Dhoni’s contributions to the Indian team.
“You taught us that all our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them. It was an honour to be a part of your cricketing journey. I have learnt so much from you Mahi Bhai, your wisdom, your guidance has always helped me not only in cricket but for life as well. Happy retirement @mahi7781,” Bhuvneshwar had written.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been named as vice-captain for the tour of Sri Lanka. The first ODI will be played at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on 13th July.
