Islamabad United will face table-toppers Lahore Qalandars in the 26th match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League on Thursday. Both of these teams have already qualified for the playoff stages and they are also likely to take on each other in the first qualifier.
ISU and LHQ have been the best teams in the tournament so far and they will want to carry the winning impetus going. Both teams have won six out of the eight matches they have played and they have ticked the right boxes.
ISU had won their previous match against Multan Sultans by two wickets after a blistering knock from Faheem Ashraf. However, ISU will want to come up with a better bowling performance as they had conceded more than 200 runs against MS.
On the other hand, Lahore Qalandars were stunned by Peshawar Zalmi by 35 runs and they will look to return to winning ways. Shaheen Shah Afridi has led from the front as he scored a fifty in the last match and he has also scalped 14 wickets in the eight matches they have played.
Match Prediction: Lahore Qalandars will enter the contest as favorites against Islamabad United.
