After early wickets of Badoni, Pant, and Markram, Parag applied relentless pressure by extending spells for his strike bowlers. Jofra Archer and Nandre Burger were both given three overs in the powerplay, a bold move that paid off immediately.
Archer even delivered a maiden over during this phase, tightening the grip on LSG and effectively ending the contest within the first few overs of the chase.
