Durban Super Giants will square off against Pretoria Capitals in the 15th match of the ongoing SA20 2023 at the Kingsmead, Durban on Friday. Durban Super Giants have won two and lost as many out of the four matches they have played in the ongoing tournament.
On the other hand, Pretoria Capitals are currently at the top of the points table with three wins in four games. The Capitals had won their previous match against Joburg Super Kings convincingly by six wickets and had also earned the bonus point.
Anrich Nortje and James Neesham had scalped three wickets each for the Capitals whereas Adil Rashid had snared two wickets to skittle out the opposition at a paltry score of 122. Furthermore, Phil Salt had scored a quickfire fifty in the run chase. Thus, the Capitals will look to continue the good show against DSG.
Meanwhile, Durban Super Giants lost their previous game against Paarl Royals by 10 runs. DSG had done a decent job in restricting the opposition at 169 but no batter except for Heinrich Klaasen got get going in the run-chase.
This will be the first match between these two teams in the tournament and both sides will want to get crucial points.
