Paarl Royals will lock horns against Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the 14th match of the ongoing SA20 2023 at Boland Park, Paarl on Thursday. Paarl Royals are currently in second place in the points table with two wins and as many losses in four matches with a total of nine points.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Eastern Cape has also won two matches and lost two but they have eight points under their bag. Sunrisers Eastern Cape won their previous match MI Cape Town by two wickets after Marco Jansen stunned one and all with his batting pyrotechnics.
The lanky batter smashed 66 runs off just 27 balls with the help of three fours and seven maximums to turn the match on its head.
Meanwhile, Paarl Royals also won their previous match against Durban Super Giants by 10 runs. Wihan Lubbe scored 57 for the David Miller-led team whereas Bjorn Fortuin (3-14) and Evan Jones (4-32) shined with the ball for the Royals.
This will be the first match between these two teams and both sides will look to come up with a collective effort.
