India will enter the T20 World Cup 2022 with an aim to end its ICC major trophy drought. The Men in Blue had won the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup and they haven’t been able to go all the way in the T20I showpiece since then.
India will begin their T20 World Cup campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan at the iconic MCG on Sunday. India had lost to Pakistan in the previous edition of the T20 World Cup and they will be determined to turn the tables. The Rohit Sharma-led will aim to come up with a collective effort in the major event.
India’s bowling will be a concern as they will be missing the services of their ace paceman Jasprit Bumrah. The Indian fast bowlers haven’t been on the money in the death overs and they will need to pull up their socks.
On the other hand, India’s batting is doing a fine job in recent times and the top order will hold the key in the T20 World Cup.
