T20 World Cup 2024: India vs Australia – Stats Preview

India will take on Australia in the 51st match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia on Monday. The Men in Blue could not bring their best with the bat in New York however they have turned the tables in the Caribbean conditions.

India took an aggressive approach against Bangladesh and many cricket boffins reckon that this should be the way forward for the team, not only for the remainder of the T20I showpiece but also overall in T20I format.

On the other hand, Australia could not bring their best with the bat against Afghanistan and thus had to pay the price. Thus, it will be a do-or-die match for the Mitchell Marsh-led team.

Stats Preview:

Tim David needs five fours to complete 100 boundaries in T20Is.

Marcus Stoinis needs nine fours to complete 100 boundaries in T20Is.

Ashton Agar, who will play his 50th T20I, needs one wicket to complete 50 wickets in T20Is.

Josh Inglis needs 30 runs to reach 500 runs in the shortest format. He also needs four fours to complete 50 boundaries in T20Is.

Matthew Wade needs five fours and four sixes to complete 100 boundaries and 50 maximums respectively in T20Is.
