The Netherlands will lock horns against Nepal in the seventh match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 at the Grand Prairie Stadium, in Dallas. The first match of the tournament between the USA and Canada was played at the same venue and almost 400 runs were scored.
Thus, it is expected to be a good batting track, which has been a rarity in the ongoing tournament and both teams will look to come up with a collective effort.
Meanwhile, the Dutch had impressed in the previous T20 World Cup as they had stunned South Africa. Furthermore, they had given a tough challenge to Asian teams like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Thus, their impressive performance gave them a direct qualification for the T20I showpiece.
Moreover, the Netherlands stunned Sri Lanka in the warm-up match by 20 runs and they will look to continue their good show and once again make a mark on the big stage.
When these two teams met in tri-series final in March, the Dutch had registered a four-wicket win.
On the other hand, Nepal lost their warm-up match against Canada by 63 runs. However, they had secured their World Cup qualification after beating UAE by six wickets in the ACC Mens T20I Premier Cup, 2024.
