New Zealand will square off against Afghanistan in the 14th match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 at the Providence Stadium, Guyana on Saturday. Afghanistan had won their opening match of the tournament against Uganda by a gargantuan margin of 125 runs whereas the Kiwis will look to begin their campaign on a high.
Both of these teams have faced each other only once in T20Is, which New Zealand won comprehensively by eight wickets in ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
The Blackcaps have performed consistently in the major ICC events and they will be determined to win their maiden T20 World Cup title.
