The defending champions Chepauk Super Gillies will lock horns against Lyca Kovai Kings in the 17th match of the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League at the SNR College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore on Tuesday. The reigning champions have managed a solitary win out of the three matches they have played so far.
On the other hand, Lyca Kovai Kings had lost their opening two matches but they have made a roaring comeback after winning their last two games.
Chepauk Super Gillies had won their previous match by a big margin of 44 runs against runners-up Ruby Trichy Warriors. S Radhakrishnan had scored a fine knock of 81 runs while Sasidev had scored 65 runs to help CSG post 203 runs on the board.
Meanwhile, Lyca Kovai Kings had won their last game against Ruby Trichy Warriors by five wickets as they had come up with a fine bowling effort. Abhishek Tanwar was the star of the show for LKK as he had scalped three wickets and conceded only 19 runs in his quota of four overs. Thus, the Shahrukh Khan-led will look to continue their good form.
Match Prediction: Lyca Kovai Kings might enter the contest as favorites against Chepauk Super Gillies as they have the winning momentum on their side.
