West Indies’ Preparatory Squad for India Test Series Announced

The upcoming multi-format series between the West Indies and India is set to ignite the cricketing stage. Under the captaincy of Kraigg Brathwaite, the Windies are gearing up for the challenges that lie ahead. The squad features notable names such as Kemar Roach, Jermaine Blackwood, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Rahkeem Cornwall, and more. Cricket West Indies took to Twitter to make the official announcement, stating, “CWI Men’s Selection Panel today named the 18-member squad for the preparation camp ahead of the two-match Test Series against India in the Caribbean. Camp starts at CCG in Antigua on Friday, 30 June. The team travels to Dominica on Sunday 9 July.” This declaration generated excitement among fans and further intensified the anticipation surrounding the series.

On the other side, the Indian team also revealed their squad for the Test series. With their arrival in the Caribbean during the first week of July, India aims to acclimate themselves to the conditions and prepare for the rigorous challenges they will face.
