India’s squad for the remaining two Tests of the BGT does not have a vice-captain named, with the out of form KL Rahul apparently removed from the position. Does this mean that he will not play the third Test? Or has the Indian team management decided to relieve some of the burden on Rahul’s shoulders by not giving him a leadership role? Either way, Rahul’s form has become a national issue, so here’s my take.
