The table-toppers India will take on bottom-placed Netherlands in the last league stage match of the ongoing World Cup 2023 at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Sunday. India has been simply sensational throughout the tournament as they have played like the best team.
The Netherlands, on the other hand, have impressed and have shown the promise to get better with experience. The Dutch have been good in patches and they will need to be more consistent throughout the 100 overs to get th desired results.
Meanwhile, India has been a force to reckon with in the ongoing competition and they have been absolutely relentless in their approach. Ergo, they wouldn’t want to take their foot off the pedal against the Dutch and continue their supremacy.
However, Prasidh Krishna, who has replaced injured Hardik Pandya in the squad, is expected to make his World Cup debut and it will be interesting to note which fast bowler will be rested if the former gets his chance.
India has come up with a collective show with both bat and ball and they have been brilliant in the field too. The batters are posting runs on the board while the bowlers are keeping the opposition at bay as they have been breathing down the neck of the opposition.
Meanwhile, it will be a great opportunity for the Dutch to play against the potent Indian team and they could take a lot of learnings from the game.
