The much-awaited contest of the ongoing World Cup between India and Pakistan will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Saturday. The two arch-rivals have got off to a winning starts as both of them have won their respective two matches.
India has been convincing with both bat and ball and showed their might in the last game against Afghanistan. The three batters – Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma, and Shreyas Iyer – who got out for ducks against Australia, were able to get the much-needed runs under their belt.
On the other hand, Mohammad Rizwan continued to impress as he scored a fine knock of 131 runs against Sri Lanka. Furthermore, Rizwan was able to get support from Abdullah Shafique, who also scored a fine century. Thus, the duo helped the team in chasing down the highest-ever total in World Cup history.
