South Africa will lock horns against Bangladesh in the 23rd match of the ongoing World Cup 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Tuesday. The Proteas had posted a mammoth score of 399 runs on the board on the same ground against England and they will look to continue the winning impetus against the Tigers.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, had lost their previous match against India by seven wickets. The Tigers had definitely missed the services of their skipper Shakib Al Hasan against India and they will hope that he recovers in time for the big match.
South Africa has ticked the right boxes as they have won three out of their four matches and their batting unit has been in prime form. Moreover, the bowlers have also backed the batting unit with consistent performances.
Heinrich Klaasen was at his absolute best against England as he played a blistering knock of 109 runs off just 67 balls. Furthermore, Marco Jansen, Reeza Hendricks, and Rassie van der Dussen scored fine half-centuries.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh have won a solitary match out of the four games they have played and this will be a must-win contest for them. The Tigers had got off to a decent start against India but their middle order could not get the job done as they lost wickets in a cluster.
