FC Goa has mutually parted ways with Armando Sadiko after the conclusion of the Indian Super League 2024-25. The Albanian striker scored 10 goals and provided two assists for the Gaurs in 24 matches he played in the 11th edition of the league.
Ergo, the 33-year-old played a key role in helping FC Goa finish at second place in the ISL standings and qualifying for the playoffs.
Sadiku got off to a whirlwind start to the season, scoring eight goals in the first seven matches. But, the forward veered off the track after a bright start as he could only find the back of the net in the next 17 matches on two occasions.
FC Goa suffered a 3-2 loss in the semifinal of the ISL against Bengaluru FC, which ended their campaign.
FC Goa will face I-League side Gokulam Kerala in their Round-of-16 clash on April 21 in the upcoming Super Cup.
