Hyderabad FC skipper Joao Victor feels Football without any pressure is nothing ahead of the crucial clash against Bengaluru FC. It is well known that the players are expected to handle pressure situations in the big matches and the ones who are able to do it successfully are praised by one and all.
Hyderabad is currently at the top of the points table with one win and one draw and a total of four points. Bengaluru FC, on the other hand, has also won one match and drawn one in the ninth edition of the Hero ISL 2022-23.
Both teams will take on each other at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Gachibowli on Saturday, October 22, 2022.
Hyderabad FC started their ISL 2022-23 campaign against Mumbai City FC with a 3-3 draw however they registered a thumping win of 3-0 against NorthEast United FC in their previous match.
Joao Victor said while talking to the press ahead of the team’s match against the Blues, “We are all ready for our next game. Football without pressure is nothing. You cannot be ready for a game without pressure. We have the pressure to defend the title, and pressure to win every game but we are confident and ready for the game against Bengaluru.”
On the other hand, defender Chinglensana Singh was also part of the press conference along with talismanic striker Bartholomew Ogbeche and head coach Manuel Marquez. Singh said it has been a great experience to be part of the team.
“It is a great experience to be a part of this group. There are a lot of quality players at this club and it is a great learning experience for me. We help each other become better and that is what makes our group special.”
Hyderabad will play in front of their home crowd and Marquez added that they have been waiting for this opportunity for the last two seasons.
He said, “It is a moment we have all been waiting for. Even in the first game, it was unfortunate that we could not play at home. In the bubble, we got a lot of messages on social media. But now we want to finally play in front of our fans, in front of a big crowd, and get all three points from this game.”
