ISL 2024-25: Bengaluru FC vs FC Goa, 1st leg semi final – Match Preview

Bengaluru FC will take on FC Goa in the first leg of the semifinal of the ongoing Indian Super League 2024-25 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru on Wednesday. Both teams would look to take advantage in the first leg of the contest.

While the Blues registered a thumping 5-0 win against defending champions Mumbai City FC in the opening knockout game, FC Goa were able to qualify for the last four after finishing second on the ISL points table.

Bengaluru FC head coach Gerard Zaragoza said he wants to help the club win trophies.

“I’m looking forward to it. I came here to the club to win trophies, and we have three other really good teams involved in the semi-finals too,” Gerard Zaragoza said before the game.

On the other hand, the Gaurs head coach Manolo Marquez shared similar thoughts ahead of the all-important clash.

“I’m very excited. I want to help FC Goa win the ISL Cup for the first time,” he said.

Sunil Chhetri has been amazing for Bengaluru FC in the ongoing season, scoring 13 goals in 25 matches and has also provided two assists.
