Bengaluru FC will kick off their ISL 2024-25 campaign against East Bengal FC at their home den of Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru on September 14.
The Blues finished in 10th place in the ISL standings 2023-24 with five wins in 22 matches and could only muster 22 points. Thus, they were well away from qualifying for the playoffs and this was their worst season since joining the ISL in the 2017-18 campaign. Thus, they will be determined to turn the tables under the tutelage of Gerard Zaragoza.
Bengaluru FC captain Sunil Chhetri has announced his international retirement and it will be interesting to note how will fare in the tournament.
