NorthEast Women Football League: Meghalaya Leopards vs Nagaland Wild Hogs – Match 28

 

Meghalaya Leopards will lock horns against Nagaland Wild Hogs in the 28th match of the ongoing NorthEast Women Football League on Wednesday. The match will take place at the Sports Authority of India, Imphal at Manipur at 3:00 PM IST.

Meghalaya Leopards will be led by Philawansha Mylliemngap whereas Mhasikhonuo Paunuo will lead Nagaland Wild Hogs. This is the last league stage match of the tournament and a crucial one for both teams.

Meghalaya Leopards lost their last match against Manipur Sangais by 1-0 on Tuesday. The Leopards have seven points under their belt and they are currently in sixth place in the points table. Thus, it will be a must-win match for the Meghalaya Leopards in order to qualify for the semifinals.

On the other hand, Nagaland Wild Hogs have eight points and they are currently at third place in the standings. Nagaland will have to manage at least a draw to make their way into the last four of the tournament.
