In retrospect of the lockdown, the India Men and women’s core probable team camping at Sports Authority of India Center, Bengaluru, has suspended the high-intensity training back in March.
Since training on the pitch isn’t feasible yet, the team has been indoors working out to maintain top condition of their fitness levels with the coaching staff monitoring carefully to make sure they retain the social distancing rules. The training has helped them in working on their stamina, and also how to manage fatigue as well.
Savita vice-captain of the team has applauded the applications and techniques used by the team coaches to submit their workload and training schedules saying the coaching staff usually used the apps to plan for the week activities and also share with them.
“During this lockdown with the with social distancing rules on the ground at the SAI, the usage of Google docs for wellness submission of data and google forms for training, presentations became compulsory for an update of work.done during the day, which further discussions will be held via the chief coach or the scientific advisor.”

A familiar tool for them to communicate and organize schedules with the authorities. ” we have learned a lot and familiarize ourselves with innovations of technology which has been top-notch and helping us out a lot. We are appreciated by the fact that our coaches opened our eyes to all these.”
