UPB Fight Club to Enthrall Audiences One Final Time this Season

    March 12, 2025

UPB Fight Club Season 4, Finale – Another UPB Fight Club Season (its 4th) comes to its ending and continues the glorious journey started three and half years ago. This is a legacy which would be tough to emulate and UPB Fight Club itself would strive to build on it in the future. Here’s to another showdown!
UPB Fight Club is set to churn out its 26th edition on 12th of March 2025, which is also the culminating Event for its 4th Season. This Season has seen 45 Bouts between Boxers from across the Country with 20 of the 29 States having their representation. A truly pan-India Boxing Promotion which has been able to ‘Unite’ the Nation from a Professional Boxing perspective.
The Main Fight of the Night is the Super Bantamweight clash between Kalisetty Srinu and Saurabh Kumar for 8 Rounds. Srinu is coming from two back-to-back KO wins in the previous two Bouts in the last 3 Months and he finished both in the first Round, like his earlier two KO wins as well. This clearly shows that he’s an aggressive Boxer and completely opposite to the way Saurabh fights, who measures his opponents initially before launching. He further has experience of longer duration Bouts, which Srinu lacks and this is where Saurabh has damaged most of his opponents. This would be a classic Bout to bring the curtains down on this Season.
The Co-Main Fight is between K Bhavani Prasad and Keisham Luckysun Singh for 8 Rounds in the Super Featherweight category. Prasad, though has been at the receiving end of Results in his early career, has taken all his Bouts the full distance. He is regarded as the Bull because of his stout build and could act as one in Lucky’s shop, who is coming back to the Ring after seven months due to some health concerns. Lucky is the No. 1 Boxer in his category but even the best have to be careful when they are making a comeback after a hiatus. Thus, Lucky could start cautiously and that could just be the window of opportunity Prasad might need to exert his dominance over him. This would be an edge of the seat potboiler in the Fight Night’s discourse.
The Super Middleweight duel between Gaurav Bisht and K Harikishore for 4 Rounds shouldn’t be seen by anyone as a one-sided contest. Gaurav certainly is on a roll with three KO wins on the trot and to begin one’s Professional journey like that is a testimony to the potential the young lad holds (he’s still in his late-teens). Hari would have his task cut out against Gaurav would have to draw on the learnings from his latest TKO win from a month ago in order to stop this juggernaut. A great heavier weight spectacle in the offing for the audiences and one they would love to see.
The 4-Round clash between Akshay Mare and Kallanti Shine Kumar in the Super Flyweight category is one of the unpredictable Bouts of the evening. Akshay is coming from two wins in his inaugural two Bouts, which he won comprehensively. Shine debuted last month on the Pro-circuit with a closely contested win and would need to do better to shake up Akshay’s confidence and would thus want to capitalise on his extreme nimbleness in the Ring. This is expected to be the fastest Fight in the Ring because of the low-weight and also both the Boxers.
The Featherweight clash between debutant Altamash Khan and Niraj Thakur for 4 Rounds could be a see-saw one to say the least. Altamash is a multiple medal winner at the State-level and is known in the Amateur-circuit as a shrewd Boxer, who doesn’t give away much. Niraj, on the other hand, had his first win on UPB Fight Club last month against a formidable opponent, a victory which has brought him a world of confidence after his ill-matched Debut Fight. With both Boxers raring to go on the journey to beginnings of their Pro-journeys, this is Bout where even an inch couldn’t be seen to be conceded by anyone, thereby making it a visual treat for the audience.
The Event opener is a 4-Round Super Welterweight clash between Govardhan Sai Vurivuti and Suraj Singh, which is as unpredictable as they come. Sai is coming from two Bouts which would be quality experience for him in getting into this Bout with Suraj, who is coming back to Ring after a gap of 4 years. Since much can’t be said about his old Bouts, one must go behind the motivation of what is bringing him back into the Ring and that is to chase Professional glory again despite the disillusionment experienced by him at the hands of some crooks long-time ago. The first Bout of the evening itself is such a contrast of emotions that it can set the Ball rolling for the rest of the evening for the audiences and promises to be a cracker of a start.
As curtains get ready to come down on another (4th) Season of UPB Fight Club, one can’t help but reflect on the journey that has been covered so far. From a quaint yet determined idea of ‘Uniting’ the Country through a Sport to being able to hold more than 150+ Bouts is an unprecedented achievement in this Sport, whose credit can only go to the Boxers, Fans and Sponsors. With everyone’s good wishes and unwavering support, UPB Fight Club gets ready to ring the Bell one final time this Season. This Event could just be the fireworks everyone wanted!
