In the second match of Pro Kabaddi League season 12, Bengaluru Bulls will lock horns against the Puneri Paltan at the Vishwanadh Sports Club, Vizag on Friday. Puneri Paltan had finished in eighth place in the standings in the previous season, whereas Bengaluru Bulls had finished as the cellar-dwellers of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Bengaluru Bulls retained only four players – Chandranaik M, Lucky Kumar, Manjeet, and Pankaj, ahead of the Season 12 auction. The Bulls bought raider Akash Shinde (INR 53.10 lacs), left cover Dheeraj (INR 40.20 lacs), Iranian all-rounder Ahmadreza Asgari (INR 13 lacs) and raider Alireza Mirzaeian (INR 14 lacs) in the auction.
On the other hand, Puneri Paltan retained defenders Abinesh Nadarajan, Gaurav Khatri, Dadaso Shivaji Pujari, raiders Pankaj Mohite, Mohit Goyat, Aditya Tushar Shinde and all-rounder Aslam Mustafa Inamdar ahead of PKL Season 12. PP added all-rounder Gurdeep (INR 47.10 lacs), Iranian all-rounder Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh (INR 13 lacs) in the auction.
Paltan used the FBM card to retain all-rounder Mohd Amaan for INR 35 lacs for two seasons.
