Jannik Sinner admitted there is hardly any chink in Carlos Alcaraz’s armour, which makes it challenging to face him. The Italian said Alcaraz is incredibly fast on the court and covers every part in a jiffy.
Sinner and Alcaraz share a great rivalry, and there is no doubt that these two have been the two best players on the tour in the last couple of seasons. The duo has also shared the last eight Slams between them.
Barring the Australian Open final, Alcaraz and Sinner met each other in the Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and US Open finals.
While Alcaraz won the Roland Garros and US Open against Sinner, the Italian won the Wimbledon and Nitto ATP Finals in Turin in 2025 against the Spaniard. Sinner had championship points in the French Open final but Alcaraz was able to bounce back strongly.
The pair is playing the most important matches of the season against each other, and their rivalry has kept the tennis fans on the edge of their seats.
Speaking to Tennis Korea, “First of all, he has virtually no weaknesses. He’s one of the best players on tour right now, perhaps even the best. Playing against him is always a challenge, but it’s also a lot of fun.
“Every game has a completely different story and flow, which makes it even more exciting. He’s also incredibly fast, so it’s difficult to break through him anywhere on the court.
Alcaraz has a 10-6 Win-Loss record in head-to-head battle against Sinner. There is no doubt that Alcaraz and Sinner are head and shoulders above everyone else on the tour and they would look to carry their supremacy in 2026.
