Subsequently, Nadal ended his 2021 season as he revealed that he will need to go through treatment on his foot injury which has been troubling him for a long time. Nadal received his medical treatment in Barcelona and he is back to his home. He also gave gratitude to his fans for all the support.
Nadal wrote on his Instagram post, “Hi everyone, I haven’t communicated with you through social media for a while,” Nadal said. “I was in Barcelona with my team and medical team to receive a treatment on my foot that will keep me a few days of rest and a few weeks off the court. I’m back home now and in the process of recovery. Thanks to everyone for the support.”
Nadal had lost the semifinal of the French Open 2021 against Novak Djokovic, which was an epic encounter between the two best players of all time.
