Current form:

The LA Lakers are playing at the top of their game. The team has been in sublime form and they would aim to bring their best to the table. The Lakers had convincingly won the first conference round against Portland Trail Blazers by 4-1. The Lakers once again repeated the same performance against the Houston Rockets as they won the semifinals by 4-1.

On the other hand, the Denver Nuggets have come up with collective effort in the postseason. The Nuggets were down and out against the Utah Jazz as they were down by 3-1 but they were able to make a fine comeback to win by 4-3.

Once again, they were trailing by 3-1 against the Clippers but made a roaring comeback to win the series 4-3 and booked their place in the Western Conference finals.

Head to head:

Total matches – 179, Won by LA Lakers – 108, Won by Denver Nuggets – 71.

The Lakers had won the last meeting 124-121 against the Denver Nuggets in the regular season in August.

Players to look out for: LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been in prolific form throughout the season.

Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic will hold the key for the Denver Nuggets.

Match Prediction: LA Lakers will be the favourites based on their current form and head to head battle. They have the experience in their squad but they won’t be making the mistake of taking Denver Nuggets lightly.
