The LA Lakers star LeBron James has had a glorious career. James has been going strong and played an instrumental part in taking the Lakers to 17th NBA title. The King is 35 years old and the recently concluded season was his 17th season. However, James once again proved that age is just a number.
James was at his best in the postseason and delivered the goods for the team. He also hammered a lot of records on the way. This was James’ fourth NBA ring and he was awarded the NBA MVP of the finals for the fourth time in his illustrious career.
James has always worked hard on his fitness and he has been able to reap fruits for the same. Bron’s former teammate Dahntay Jones heaped praise on the champion for maintaining the beast mode. Jones revealed that James has always worked hard on his body and the results are palpable as he plays at the top of his game at 35.
“I pride myself on being the first person to the gym because I’m a role player,” Jones said while speaking to Lakers legend Michael Cooper.
“I have to do that to be on teams and be available. But I am walking in with him. He is preparing like I am preparing. Greatest in the world. He’s stretching early, he’s lifting early, working out on the court early.
“When you have a guy that is athletically superior to everybody else but then mentally locked into his physical as well, that’s what you see in your 17th year being able to still dominate the game of basketball.”
LeBron James had a fine season for the Lakers and he would aim to continue the same in the next season. James has written his name among the greats of the game and he is right up there with the best in the business.
The King has ticked the right boxes in his career and he did a brilliant job for the Lakers along with Anthony Davis. James has shown why is the best player to have embraced the game as led the team with aplomb.
