LeBron James and Kevin Durant are one of the best players of their generation. Both of them have been instrumental in the success of their team and have proved their mettle on many occasions. James has played a key role in the success of the LA Lakers whereas Durant has done the same for the Brooklyn Nets.
In fact, both of these greats have also delivered in the clutch time, when their team needed them to execute their skills to perfection under crunch situations. Both of them have delivered whenever they have been under the pump and that’s the hallmark of a great player.
Meanwhile, former NBA champion and the LA Lakers player Magic Johnson has picked LeBron James over Kevin Durant when he was asked to pick a player to shoot during the clutch time, on the ‘Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon’.
Magic reasoned that he is picking James over Durant as the former has won more championships than the latter. The former legend added that KD is a great scorer we have ever seen but he will ride with LeBron.
Magic said, “Yikes! Oh, man. You know KD is a scorer and one of the greatest that we’ve ever seen at that position. But I got to ride the winner, too. I got to ride LeBron because he got more championships than KD.”
LeBron James has won four championships whereas Kevin Durant has won only two. Meanwhile, not many experts might agree with Johnson’s statement as Durant has a better record during clutch time as compared to LeBron James.
KD has taken more accurate shots in the dying moments of the game and he has done a fine job over the years. However, James is also not far behind as he knows how to get the best out of himself. James is expected to return back to action this week.
