Dallas Mavericks star player Luka Doncic has been the cynosure of all eyes as he is making everyone laud his performances. Doncic is only 21 years old but he is setting new records with every playoffs match. The star player has really impressed with his performances and he is doing the bulk of the work for the Dallas Mavericks.
The fourth game of the series between the Dallas Mavericks and the LA Clippers went down to the wire. The match was tied at 121-121 but Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard could not find the basket and thus the match went to extra time.
With the LA Clippers leading with 132-131 and only nine seconds remaining on the clock, Luka Doncic nailed the three-pointer to take his team to the thrilling win. Dorian Finney Smith found an open Luka Doncic and the youngster took the shot with only six seconds to go.
Doncic was right on the money with his shot outside the arc and helped his team level the series 2-2.
In fact, at the mid way stage of the second quarter, the LA Clippers enjoyed a 21 point lead by 54-33 and had a tight grip on the match. However, the Dallas Mavericks were able to turn the tables, courtesy Luka Doncic.
Doncic had an all-round match as he scored 43 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists in the match. With it, the youngster joined the likes of NBA legends like Charles Barkley and Oscar Robertson as the players to have scored 40-15-10 in a playoffs fixture.
He also joined the likes of Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Damian Lillard and Kawhi Leonard to score 40+ points and win it with a buzzer beater in a playoff match.
The series is tied at 2-2 and the fifth match between the LA Clippers and Dallas Mavericks will take place on Wednesday.
