IPL 2023: Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals, Game 17 – Match Prediction

Chennai Super Kings will face Rajasthan Royals in the 17th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Wednesday. Both of these teams have won two out of their three matches but Rajasthan has a better Net Run Rate.

Chennai has always been a force to reckon with while playing in their own conditions and the spinners have done a magnificent job for them. The spin troika of Mitchell Santner, Moeen Ali, and Ravindra Jadeja have been right on the money for CSK.

CSK had posted 217 runs on the board while playing at home against Lucknow Super Giants with Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway doing the bulk of the scoring.

CSK has ticked the right boxes as MS Dhoni has once again led with aplomb. However, Deepak Chahar is expected to miss a few matches due to injury whereas Ben Stokes has been ruled out for a week.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals batters have been brilliant as they have adopted an aggressive approach.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler have provided solid starts to the previous season’s runners-up and the openers will look to carry the same against CSK. Moreover, the spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin are going to hold the key for RR.

Match Prediction: Rajasthan Royals might enter the contest as favorites against Chennai Super Kings.
