Lucknow Super Giants will open their IPL 2023 campaign against Delhi Capitals at their home ground of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on 1st April. Both teams will be looking to make a winning start to the tournament and hit the straps.

Lucknow Super Giants had done a good job in qualifying for the playoff stages in the previous season after coming up with impressive performances. Youngsters like Yash Dayal, Ravi Bishnoi, and Ayush Badoni had impressed for LSG. KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock had also done a fine job at the top of the order.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, will miss the services of their full-time skipper Rishabh Pant. David Warner will lead in his absence and he has all the experience to get the best out of his players. Mitchell Marsh is going to hold the key for Delhi Capitals and he is likely at number three.
