The reigning champions Chepauk Super Gillies will face Dindigul Dragons in the 21st match of the ongoing season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League at the SNR College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore on Saturday. The defending champion CSG have won two out of their four matches so far.
On the other hand, Dindigul Dragons have won two matches whereas they have lost three in the five games they have played. CSG is currently in third place in the points table whereas DD is sixth in the standings.
CSG had won their previous match against Lyca Kovai Kings by five wickets. R Sai Kishore had come up with an all-around performance against LKK as he had scalped two wickets and conceded only 25 runs in his four overs. Furthermore, Kishore had scored 48 runs to add the finishing touches to the run-chase of 171.
Meanwhile, Dindigul Dragons lost their last game against Madurai Panthers by seven wickets. DD could only manage 122 runs in their batting innings and they will need to come up with a better batting show. Mokit Hariharan had scored an unbeaten 43 but he didn’t receive any support from the other end.
Match Prediction: Chepauk Super Gillies will enter the contest as favorites against Dindigul Dragons.
