If Kohli accrues four demerit points, he would face a suspension for one Test or two limited-overs matches, potentially ruling him out of the fifth Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. However, ICC precedent suggests a Level 1 penalty is more likely, sparing Kohli from missing any games.

Konstas Shines Despite Drama

Despite the on-field tension, 23-year-old Sam Konstas maintained his composure to score an impressive 60 in his debut innings. His counterattacking approach unsettled the Indian bowlers, proving he could handle the pressure even in such a high-profile debut.
