World Cup 2023: India vs England, Game 29 – Stats Preview

India will be up against reigning champions England at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow in the 29th match of the ongoing World Cup 2023 on Sunday. India has marched on like juggernauts and they look like a team to beat in the ongoing showpiece.

The Rohit Sharma-led team has been simply brilliant in their performances as they clicked as a unit. The bowlers have kept the opposition to under-par scores whereas the batters have also come up with a collective show. Rohit Sharma has been aggressive at the top of the order while Virat Kohli has been the glue between top and middle-order.

Kohli has scored 354 runs whereas Rohit has amassed 311 runs in five matches and both the veterans have stood up so far. On the other hand, England has looked toothless and the defending champions were beaten comprehensively by Sri Lanka in their last game. The Three Lions were skittled out for only 156 runs and they need to pull up their socks.
